the fact peoples support censorship is the problem. If peoples didn't put up with these kind of practice in the first places, there wouldn't be so much censorship as it would be seen as being unprofitable. Let me just say that when you say 'It's something people have to accept, in reality. We have Japanese games censoring their own historic naval flag to appeal to ignorant people overseas. We have Hollywood movies that censor out Taiwan, or Japanese flags to appeal to China. The beancounters never cared about anything but the beans they count. It's something people have to accept, in reality.
So its not unique to JP to Global games (or KR to global). Thing is, JP (and other places) get censorship their way too. And compared to a lot of games, PSO is less neutered than many. Because the PSO censorship arguments tend to start with height limits, yeah it is hard to care.
